Who Is Eligible?
Enrolled in Part A & Part B
You must have both Medicare Part A and Part B to enroll in most plans.
Live in the Plan's Service Area
Plan availability depends on your ZIP code and county.
U.S. Citizen or Lawfully Present
You must be a citizen or lawfully present in the United States.
Enrollment Periods
Initial Enrollment Period (IEP)
3 months before and after your 65th birthday month — The first chance to enroll in Part D when you become eligible for Medicare.
Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
October 15 – December 7 — Change, drop, or enroll in a Part D plan for coverage starting January 1.
Special Enrollment Period (SEP)
Conditional — Enroll outside standard windows if you qualify due to a life change.
